Community

We are proud to partner with the following organizations:

AARP Foundation
AARP Foundation Experience Corps has nearly 2,000 highly-trained volunteers working in more than 20 cities and serves over 30,000 students every year in high-need elementary schools. Each Experience Corps site operates one of three tutoring models: one to one; small group; and literacy assistance (where volunteers tutor and help teachers with classroom-wide activities).

Washington Ballet
A critical element of The Washington Ballet’s (TWB) mission is to actively engage the city of Washington and its surrounding communities. TWB’s community engagement programs and initiatives are designed to connect children and adults of all ages to the art form and to bring the joy of dance into their lives.

Author Ash Children's Program
Through the Arthur Ashe Children’s Program (AACP), Washington Tennis & Education Foundation (WTEF) enhances the health, safety and academic performance of 325 elementary and middle school students every school year. AACP provides academic, tennis, and life skills instruction to students after school at 10 schools in Washington, DC’s under-resourced neighborhoods.
